Chris Hofacker

Chris joined Fischer Forensic Engineering in 2023 as a Forensic Analyst. He studied Audio Engineering at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa from 2007 to 2010, and subsequently spent 16 years in the musical instrument industry, where he

gained extensive experience with audio and video technologies.

Driven by a growing interest in audio forensics and leveraging his deep technical background, Chris transitioned into forensic analysis with a focus on accident reconstruction. Since joining the firm, he has completed specialized training through SAE, including courses in Photogrammetry and Digital Media Analysis, and practical applications of Photomodeler for collision investigation. He has also received training in Rhino 3D, CloudCompare, and NavVis Ivion, further expanding his capabilities in 3D modeling and data analysis.
